Product

Why should I analyze my designs with CADY?

CADY is a proven AI agent for schematic analysis that Fortune 500 engineering teams rely on to catch costly design errors early — perfecting designs before layout. Teams save time on tedious review work and avoid expensive board respins.

Does CADY analyze electrical schematics, layout, or both?

Currently, CADY analyzes electrical schematics only. Layout analysis (placing and routing) is planned for a future release.

What's the difference between CADY and DRC (Design Rules Check) tools?

CADY uses proprietary algorithms to automatically read and understand each component's datasheet — enabling far more comprehensive analysis than traditional DRC tools. No user input is required, and there are no component libraries to create or upload.

Which types of errors can CADY detect?

CADY covers a wide range of errors including connection instruction integrity, voltage mapping, communication protocols, and many more.

Which CAD software does CADY support?

CADY is platform-agnostic and supports all the leading ECAD tools: Siemens (Xpedition / DxDesigner / PADS), Cadence (OrCAD / HDL / Concept), Altium, Zuken, KiCad, and Eagle.

Supported netlist formats include Protel 2, Quick View Connections (*.qcv), and OrCAD netlist (.dat).

How long does CADY's analysis take? How long will it take me to review the report?

Setup takes about 5 minutes with no manual data entry. The analysis itself runs offline and takes anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours depending on design complexity. Reviewing the report typically takes no more than 30 minutes.

What input does CADY require?

Only your Netlist and BOM files. Since CADY reads and comprehends datasheets automatically, there is no need to manually enter component data.

I want to try CADY but can't upload my schematic yet. What can I do?

You can experience CADY's capabilities through Demo Mode — sign up at the application portal.

Technology

Do I need to use specific conventions in my BOM?

No. The system adjusts for your specific formats and conventions after a quick onboarding process.

How accurate are CADY's findings?

Overall accuracy is roughly 90%, with an extremely low false-negative rate of 2–3%.

What happens if CADY can't read a datasheet for one of my components?

Unsupported components are flagged in the report, with the option to upload a datasheet if needed. Even with a few unsupported components, the analysis still runs smoothly on the vast majority of the circuit.

What is the output of CADY?

The analysis output is an instantly available, interactive HTML report — which can also be downloaded for offline review.

Can CADY enforce best-practices guidelines used by my organization?

Yes. The system supports optional user-defined rules configurable in the app, and lets customers add organizational rules and design-specific best practices.

Is CADY relevant to analog, digital, or both?

CADY works for all circuits, but users derive more value from circuits that contain a significant digital portion.

How does CADY handle FPGA / MCU multi-purpose pins?

CADY includes an upload interface where you can assign the chosen configuration to each multi-purpose pin.

Does CADY support multi-board system analysis?

Yes. Contact us for details.

IP & Security

Will CADY sign an NDA?

Yes. Contact us for specifics.

My designs are confidential. Is it safe to upload them?

We treat design sensitivity as paramount. We do not permanently store uploaded files, and state-of-the-art security tools protect our servers. A detailed Data Security white paper is available on request.

Can I run CADY on-premise?

CADY is currently cloud-based. A premium hybrid on-premise solution is available — contact us for details.
