How to use CADY

To use CADY, all you need is to upload your Netlist and BOM files

Netlist

CADY supports various netlist formats from all major ECAD vendors.
Please choose your ECAD environment below for an export guideline of the relevant netlist:

Any .csv/.xslx/.xls file is supported,
as long it contains at least one manufacturer part number for each part reference.

Siemens (Xpedition/DxDesigner/PADS) Netlist File Export

1       Go to File -> Export -> Quick Connection View…

2      To export the netlist press OK. On a new project first configure as shown in the next steps.

3       Go to the “Display” tab and select as shown below.

4      Go to the “Advanced” tab and select “Filter” to be “None” and select the checkboxes as shown below.

Cadence (OrCAD/HDL/Concept) Netlist File Export

1       Click the “Create Netlist” at the top.

2       Then on the following popup press “OK”.

3       In case of issues with the Netlist please verify that the settings in the “Other” tab are as follows.

Altium Netlist File Export

1        While viewing any “.SchDoc” file, navigate to Design -> Netlist For Project -> Protel2

2        The file can be found in your project directory at “Projects Output For <project name>”

KiCad Netlist File Export

1       Navigate to File -> Export -> Netlist

2       Then on the KiCad tab select “Export Netlist”

Eagle Netlist File Export

1       Navigate to File -> Export -> Netlist.

2       Navigate to File -> Export -> Partlist

Note: Netlist file must have “netlist” in the file name and Partlist file must have “partlist” in the file name.

Zuken Netlist File Export

1       Navigate to Tool -> Forward Annotation -> Design Force.
